To Add a URL to you text to take the viewer to another page of your site or to another website all together

1. Know what URL you want to link to (I often copy it and paste it in so I do not have to retype it)

2. Select the type in your body copy that you want to be the link (the part that is clickable)

3. Click the link button (Go above to your WYSIWYG editor – go 9 buttons over (link button))

4. Type or paste the url you want to link to in the URL box. no need for a title (if you are staying on your own site, I recommend not selecting the box ‘Open link in a new window/tab’. If you are taking them to another website, select the box. This way your site remains open to the viewer in a separate wind or tab.)

5. Click add link

Click Preview Changes (button on the right hand top of screen)

Check you link to be sure it goose to the correct website/web page

If you what to make more changes go back to your editor.

If it looks good click on Blue Update button and the pages will then be live on your site.

When you want to make an h2 headline: click the last button on the bar (when you hover over it, it will say “Show/Hide Kitchen Sink”) Highlight over the text you want to change to a headline and go to the “paragraph” drop down menu and go to “Heading 2″

It is recommended that you don’t do heading 1 because that is what the title tag is. Example: About Us  on the page,

and it is bad for SEO to have more than one h1 tag, its ok for h2 and others

tip: sometimes when creating a page break, if it is not showing up type hit the space button so the line isn’t empty

Also, if it would help you get use to editing pages, create a test page so that you can try out everything before you put it live on the site
